Patient Advocacy Organization CurePSP Taps LPC to Distill Complex Content
With a personal interest in neurodegenerative disease, Lauren was thrilled that the brain disease advocacy organization CurePSP was looking for executive writing support. The partnership began with a successful fundraising letter for the Executive Director, which led to the team beating fundraising goals. Then, the relationship transitioned into LPC writing blogs for patient education purposes.
CurePSP identified several highly complex topics around neurodegenerative diseases that they wanted their patient audience to better understand. The LPC team got to work deciphering these highly dense life scientific topics into explainer documents with an 8th-grade reading level.
These patient-focused pieces have been repurposed throughout the website and on social media.
